Nzulezu is a "hidden" city. More than 400 years ago people from the current Mali came to the South Western region of Ghana. To hide themselves for the locals they build their houses at the boarders of a lake next to a wet jungle with swamps around. They build their city on stilts. Today still 450 people live in this village, that is visited by many tourists. 90 minuts canoeing to com, visit the village and 90 minutes back. For the Dutch: "Giethoorn in het klein". Two German medical students from Groningen University (next door where I'm grown up) joined our boats.

Because of the wet weather the day before, we were not able to see the Bamboo Cathedral in Anzulu National Park unfortunately. In stead we made a one hour walk with a guide. After that we went to Axim., the beach hotel. Sunday lunch in Takoradi and back to the Hilda hotel in Tarkwa.
Stuck in the mud, thanks Jinho for helping us out! |
Then Divya called that her PC was broke. After some investigation: motherboard shortcut. I have re-mounted the PC and the guy from the helpdesk IBM Accra will bring an other Thinkpad tomorrow.
Today (monady) the traditional heavy rains in Tarkwa and a lot of work to do.
